Firewall administration is available from 9 am to 6 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Our firewall administration option allows our administrators to manage your firewall over a private VPN or console connection within the datacenter. Allow our security experts to keep the firewall OS up to date, make changes, or assist your company in developing security policies to put into place. We have experts in Cisco Pix, Watchguard, and Checkpoint firewall appliances. We can also assist you in managing all other firewalls since we house over 5000 and 20 different firewall appliances in our co-location facility.

Dedicated Server Security Administration

Keep your server up to date on all security-related issues. The WebHosting UK’s security administration option gives you up to 5 hours per month of security administration. This includes scanning your linux windows server for potential security holes and completing upgrades and/or patches to resolve the potential security issues. Our security administrators will log into your servers on a schedule rotation to check for new OS security updates. Our technicians are also informed of all upgrades by industry manufacturers like Sun, Microsoft, Linux, and more. Our job is to stay abreast of the latest changes in security and to keep your servers as secure as possible. Our technicians also review cert.org and other security watchdogs and inform you of potential risks and possible solutions. The security administration option is a proactive approach to staying ahead of all the latest Internet security problems.
